The New Media and Communication Technologies Laboratory aims to equip our students—who aspire to become specialists, academics, and next-generation communication professionals in the field of new media—with the necessary technical knowledge and skills. The lab is equipped with a technological infrastructure that follows digital innovations and enables content development in various formats.
In this unit, students are able to work in different areas such as multimedia journalism by using next-generation technological tools according to their chosen specialization. Additionally, courses offered in various departments of our faculty—such as Internet Journalism, Web Design, Basic Software Knowledge, and Computer Applications—are conducted in this laboratory. The laboratory, which can also be used outside class hours, is equipped with 28 computers loaded with the required software for departmental courses, along with a projector.
