MISSION
Our primary goal is to educate individuals who explore the relationship between communication, culture, and design; who think critically, generate creative solutions, and demonstrate a strong sense of social responsibility. The department provides students with the opportunity to build a strong connection between theory and practice by integrating contemporary communication technologies with the intellectual foundations of design. Our approach, which positions digital transformation at the center of production processes, enables students to develop innovative projects in both visual and interactive communication fields. Within a research-oriented structure that values ethical principles and collaboration with stakeholders, we aim to contribute to communication and design practices that enhance societal well-being.

Our vision is to create an internationally recognized, innovative, and multidisciplinary design-education ecosystem, and to be a leading department that sustainably integrates critical thinking, creative production, and technological transformation in the fields of communication and design. We aspire to become a research and application center that makes a global impact in visual culture, digital media, communication and interaction design, AI-supported creative processes, and socially impactful projects. We prioritize providing a learning environment that supports our students in becoming professionals who can develop effective communication strategies in local and global contexts, who possess high cultural sensitivity, adhere to ethical values, and help shape the future of the creative industries.
